Hello everyone! My name is Charles.

I grew up in the south of France. From a young age, I loved imagining fun stories and going on adventures. When I turned 10, my parents and I moved to Orlando, Florida.

I attended high school, junior high, and university there, and I even worked at Walt Disney World on my breaks! Whether as a youth activities counselor or guiding the guests, I learned how to create magic moments for kids of all ages.

When I turned 30, I felt drawn to teaching English abroad. I moved to Japan and have been an English teacher here for the past few years. I love seeing students grasp new concepts and grow their confidence. Their proud smiles when something clicks make all the lesson planning worthwhile.

I can't wait to meet you all!

私は南フランスで育ちました。幼い頃から楽しい物語を想像したり、冒険に出かけたりするのが大好きでした。10歳になったとき、両親とアメリカ・フロリダ州のオーランドに引っ越しました。そこで高校、中学、大学に通い、休みにはウォルト・ディズニー・ワールドで働いたこともあります！青少年アクティビティ・カウンセラーとして、あるいはゲストの案内役として、私はあらゆる年齢の子供たちに魔法の時間を作り出す方法を学びました。

30歳になったとき、海外で英語を教えることに魅力を感じました。日本に移り住み、ここ何年か日本で英語教師をしています。生徒たちが新しい概念を理解し、自信を深めていくのを見るのが大好きです。何かがうまくいったときの生徒の誇らしげな笑顔を見ると、レッスンを準備してよかったなあと嬉しく感じます。
